Old pocket watch

Customarily in the executive search industry, two distinct types of search efforts exist: Retained and Contingency.  The Retained Search places most of the risk on the company seeking to hire a qualified individual for their staff.  A Contingency Search places all of the risk on the firm, which is seeking to identify and recruit an individual for a client company.  An additional type of search is known as a Program Search which is actually a hybrid of the Retained and Contingent Search process.

Retained Search

Fortune Group International will execute its retained search on a team basis. Three seasoned, top producing consultants will methodically research and analyze target companies for individuals appropriate for this position. Once identified, direct contact will be made to ascertain their specific qualifications and level of interest. This will initially be accomplished through comprehensive telephone screenings. Subsequently, for those individuals we deem appropriate a series of in-depth telephone and face to face interviews will follow.

Contingent Search

We are gifted in finding the needle in the haystack. Fortune Group International has fostered relationships with scores of industry professionals. We have a broad network to help us find exactly the candidate you are looking for, in significanly less time, with the right qualifications.  A good portion of the talent in our network is passive, which means we have experts who may not be actively seeking new positions, but are keeping an open ear to extraordinary opportunities.

Program Search

The Program Search is designed to accommodate multiple, simultaneous searches on behalf of the client while reducing the risk of a pure retained search effort.
